Alan, I agree with all but #1. Everybody knows that the SEC is the best
conference in college football on a year -in, year-out basis. Yes, evey
now and then a conference will rise up and challege the SEC in a given
season but the SEC with its great tradition always rises to the top.
This is the real reason that Saban went south.

Well, if Michigan State still gives a doctorate in mobile home
engineering, and Saban absorbed any of that, he can prolly make a ton
of money on the side consulting anywhere below the Mason-Dixon line.

Couldn't help noticing on one of the televised reports last night,
that of the list of the top 4 college football coach salaries, all
were in the South. Spurrier, Bowdan, Saban, Fulmer.

conference than the SEC...
